Applications are invited for the post of Head of Catering in the Commercial Services Department.
What we’re looking for:
We are looking for a strategically focused and operationally experienced catering management professional who is passionate about food and service delivery and enjoys leading and developing people to delivering exceptional service. Taking pride in the services you deliver, with an understanding of the needs of a diverse student and staff and visitor population to deliver and outstanding dining experience.
You will have an excellent track record in delivering against challenging targets. You will be experienced in improving the environmental sustainability of the operations you manage.
We are looking for somebody who can articulate and deliver an exciting and compelling vision for the future of catering at Royal Holloway and has the passion and commitment to making catering at Royal Holloway a truly outstanding experience.
The ideal candidate will have:
A track record of delivering excellent catering services in an education of similar environment. Experience of managing significant budgets, likely to be over £2 million. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing team. A strategic mind set with experience of developing successful new business offerings. An up-to-date knowledge of food trends and service styles. A genuine passion for the services you deliver.
