Position Title: Plant Controller Location: Olbersdorf
POSITION OVERVIEW The Plant Controller is responsible for providing financial leadership and business partnering to the manufacturing organization. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, effective cost control, operational performance analysis and supports the Plant Management Team in achieving financial and operational objectives. The Plant Controller acts as a strategic business partner while ensuring reliable plant controlling and compliance with Group and local statutory requirements.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Act as Finance Business Partner to the Plant Director and plant leadership team.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and monthly financial reporting.
• Report, analyze and explain actual, forecast and target results.
• Prepare annual budget planning and internal/external reporting.
• Present financial results during management reviews.
• Monitor manufacturing costs, inventory, working capital and operational performance.
• Perform profitability analyses, product costing, variance analysis and business case evaluations.
• Support capital efficiency and cost reduction initiatives.
• Support month-end/year-end closing and cooperate with auditors.
• Optimize financial processes and reporting tools.
• Support logistics with inventory and stock count processes.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and German GAAP, Group policies and internal controls.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
• The role currently has no direct reports.
• The Plant Controller will work closely with the Finance Shared Service Centre and collaborate with finance and operational stakeholders across the organization.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
🎓 Education
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
💼Professional Experience:
• 5–8 years of experience in Controlling or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years in the manufacturing environment.
• Experience with standard costing and manufacturing accounting.
• Experience with ERP systems.
