Requirements: Demonstrable experience implementing enterprise security platformsStrong hands-on experience with the Microsoft security stackStrong hands-on experience using, managing and securing diverse end-user compute environments, including Windows, MacOS, Linux and mobile device platformsKnowledge or experience working with firewalls and cloud security solutions is highly advantageousDeep understanding of information security solutions such as email and web gateways, Privileged Account Management (PAM), Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and endpoint protectionStrong understanding and knowledge of information security risk management tools and techniquesAwareness of information security control standards and frameworksExperience working within recognised information security frameworks and best practices such as ISO27001 and NISTFive years of experience in an information security role gained in a financial services or e-commerce environment is preferredSignificant experience in information technology securityStrong knowledge of core IT and networking conceptsExtensive experience implementing industry-standard IT security platformsStrong ownership of tasks and attention to detailAbility to challenge approach, strategy and implementation to ensure information security is consistently considered and improvedAbility to work under own initiative and communicate effectively with colleagues and customersStructured, self-starting and flexible approach, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environmentsEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to plan, organise and follow through on assigned tasks with little or no prompting from managementExcellent attention to detailAttained or working towards CISSP certification Responsibilities: Act as our primary technical escalation point, providing hands-on guidance and decision-making for complex technical challengesOversee the day-to-day execution of security engineering, ensuring BAU work is delivered to high standards and team SLAs are consistently metEnsure the quality and consistency of engineering outputs, including project engagements, technical tasks and documentation, align with established security standardsSupport the technical delivery of our security tooling roadmap, bridging the gap between strategic objectives and operational outcomesWork closely with our Information Security Architecture team to validate design concepts and ensure solutions are robust, scalable and fit for our enterprise environmentCollaborate with our Information Security Operations team to drive operational efficiency, quality improvements and the seamless integration of security controls across the estateProvide technical leadership and mentoring to our engineering team so they have the support and direction needed to deliver secure, automated and effective solutions Technologies: CloudSupportLinuxmacOSMobileSecurityWebWindows More:
