Salary: £37,000 - 68,500 per year
Requirements: Experience in vulnerability research, security research, penetration testing, red teaming or reverse engineering.Strong understanding of how software and systems operate at a low level.Experience identifying and analysing vulnerabilities within applications, software or embedded systems.Knowledge of reverse engineering and binary analysis techniques.Experience with tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, Binary Ninja, Burp Suite or similar.Understanding of operating systems, networking concepts and security principles.Programming or scripting experience in languages such as C, C++, Python or similar.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a genuine research mindset.Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Responsibilities: Investigate complex technical challenges in vulnerability research.Conduct detailed analysis of applications, software and platforms to uncover security weaknesses.Work alongside experts in vulnerability research, reverse engineering and high-assurance development.Contribute to advanced security research and the development of secure systems and capabilities.Present findings to technical stakeholders.Support cutting-edge research, reverse engineering and vulnerability discovery activities. This is a permanent onsite role offering a salary of £60,000 to £75,000, plus excellent benefits, bonus and pension, where you will help tackle some of the most challenging vulnerability research problems in the UK.
