Salary: £34,000 - 38,000 per year
Requirements: Previous experience in an IT Support or Desktop Support roleStrong hands-on experience supporting AV technologies within a business environmentExperience troubleshooting meeting room technologies and video conferencing solutionsGood understanding of Windows environmentsComfortable supporting both technical and non-technical usersStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues independentlyExcellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly Responsibilities: Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to colleagues, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issuesSupport and maintain meeting room and collaboration technologies to ensure a reliable user experience for video conferencing and hybrid workingTroubleshoot AV equipment including displays, cameras, microphones, speakers, room systems, and conferencing platformsPrepare devices, user accounts, and core systems for new startersWork with technologies such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or similar collaboration platformsMaintain and improve office technology, including AV setups, shared resources, and user-facing systemsSupport security processes, access management, and respond appropriately to potential issuesWork alongside the IT Manager and external suppliers to improve IT and AV servicesSupport technology refresh cycles, upgrades, and wider infrastructure improvement projects Technologies: HardwareSupportSecurityWindows More:
We are seeking an IT Support Engineer with AV to join us onsite in Cambridge. This is a hands-on role within one of our longstanding clients, where you will be highly visible across the organisation and work closely with our Infrastructure Engineers and Head of IT.
