Requirements: We need a Senior QA Automation Engineer with proven experience building a mobile automation framework from scratch.We need evidence that you chose the automation tool, structured the framework, wrote the first test suite, integrated it into CI, and grew coverage over time.We require hands-on experience with a named mobile automation tool such as Maestro, Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest, with the tool name shown in work experience, not only in a skills list.We need native iOS and Android testing experience, including signing and provisioning, simulators and emulators, TestFlight, or real-device labs.We require mobile CI/CD integration experience for app build artefacts such as IPA and APK, using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or a similar platform.We need strong web and API automation experience, ideally with Playwright, Postman, or an equivalent modern tool.Experience in insurance, fintech, or payments is a strong advantage.Azure DevOps Pipelines experience is a strong advantage.Experience with AI development tooling such as Copilot or Cursor is a strong advantage. Responsibilities: We will rely on you to set up and evolve a mobile automation framework from scratch across native iOS and Android apps.We expect you to choose the automation tool, create the framework structure, write the first tests, and expand coverage.You will integrate mobile automation into CI/CD so that app build artefacts such as IPA and APK are validated automatically.You will build and maintain modern web and API automation alongside the mobile framework.You will work with native mobile environments and testing setups including signing, provisioning, simulators, emulators, TestFlight, and real-device labs.You will develop coverage for native-mobile-specific behaviours such as offline mode, push notifications, deep links, biometric authentication, app permission flows, and device fragmentation. We are working with a client in the insurance industry on a Senior QA Automation Engineer role.
