Salary: £40,000 - 60,000 per year
Requirements: We need proven experience leading complex IT and business transformation cutovers, ideally with 3-5 years or more in a similar role.We need a strong project management background with a relevant certification such as PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, or equivalent.We need experience with cutover planning tools such as Cutover.com, ServiceNow, MS Project, or Smartsheet.We need excellent stakeholder management skills across all levels.We need proven command and control capability under pressure.We need experience running cutover rehearsals or trials and using lessons learned to improve outcomes.We need an understanding of data migration, technical infrastructure, and business change.We need strong risk and issue management skills with a proven track record of mitigation.We need excellent written and verbal communication skills.We need the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and disciplines.We consider ITIL Foundation or a similar service management qualification desirable.We consider experience in construction, building materials, or related industries desirable.We consider knowledge of SAP or ERP implementations and cutovers desirable.We consider change management certification such as Prosci or CMI desirable.We consider experience with Agile or DevOps methodologies desirable.We consider previous experience in 24/7 operational environments desirable.We consider understanding of UK regulatory and compliance requirements desirable.We consider experience with cloud migration and infrastructure cutovers desirable. Responsibilities: We will establish an overall approach and project plans so the data, technical, and business workstreams can be delivered within the desired cutover window.We will define and agree the principles for cutover.We will oversee and create the data, technical, and business cutover plans.We will develop comprehensive cutover runbooks, checklists, and decision logs.We will map dependencies across all workstreams and identify critical path activities.We will establish a cutover governance framework, including decision-making authority and escalation paths.We will identify, track, and mitigate cutover risks, maintaining the RAID log.We will provide command and control for the entry into cutover and cutover trials, including exit criteria.We will develop and maintain rollback procedures and contingency plans.We will provide evidence-based Go/No-Go recommendations for cutover readiness.We will work with the BAU environment and release manager to ensure environments are available for cutover trials.We will validate that readiness criteria are met before proceeding to live cutover.We will provide regular communication with senior stakeholders, business owners, and technical leads.We will ensure the appropriate resources are allocated and available during cutover windows.We will coordinate with business continuity teams to minimise operational disruption.We will facilitate cutover readiness meetings and decision-making forums.
