Requirements: Previous experience in laptop repair, refurbishment, or break/fix engineeringConfident working with a range of laptop manufacturersExperience replacing keyboards, storage drives, batteries, and other internal componentsGood attention to detail and ability to work to productivity targetsStrong understanding of hardware handling and ESD practicesExperience with enterprise laptop fleets, such as Dell, HP, and Lenovo, is desirableAsset management or imaging experience is desirableIT hardware certification(s) are desirable Responsibilities: Support a laptop refurbishment projectDiagnose hardware faultsDisassemble and reassemble laptops safely and efficientlyReplace faulty keyboards, SSDs/HDDs, batteries, and other componentsPerform functional testing following repairsMaintain accurate repair and asset recordsFollow ESD and health & safety procedures Technologies: HardwareSupport More:
We are seeking experienced Break/Fix Engineers to support a laptop refurbishment project in Cannock, Staffordshire. This is an outside IR35 opportunity on a day rate of £200, working Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. The role offers an ASAP start and focuses on restoring laptops to full working order through hardware diagnosis, repair, and testing.
