Senior Director, Strategy Partner to the Chief Commercial Officer Share on: Apply now Management Level Senior Director Job ID 0000036328 Category Project / Program Management Locations Billund, Denmark Copenhagen, Denmark Job Description The LEGO Group is looking for a passionate and experienced leader to partner with the LEGO Group C hief Commercial Officer (C C O) . This is a critical strategic role based out of Billund or Copenhagen . Bring your strategic and forward-thinking mentality and ability to navigate in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment! Core Responsibilities The Strategy Partner , C C O i s a member of the Strategy & Transformation (S&T) leadership team and a people leader of 7 passionate strategy professionals located in different markets globally . Y ou will w ork closely with the LEGO Group Chief Commercial Officer to drive her strategic agenda , including: Constructively challenge and spar with the C C O and h er leadership team to improve leadership decisions . Translate the Commercial strategy into simple and clear communication for the C C O to share with h er senior leadership team and broader organi s ation . Prepare materials on behalf of the C C O that go to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Board of Directors ( BoD ) for input and decision-making . Ensure the strategic initiatives progress and track well . Support the C C O to ensure h er leadership team meeting s are run well with clear pre-reads and log of actions. Lead and grow a high-performing team that serves as a key talent pipeline for the LEGO Group through recruiting, onboarding, and developing talent. This role will require strong collaboration with the rest of the S&T LT and the other Strategy Partners, with the C C O LT and rest of the LEGO Group. Play your part in our team succeeding The Strategy & Transformation team at the LEGO Group drives the Corporate Strategy development and the execution of major transformation initiatives . We are uniquely positioned working closely with the senior leadership team on cross-functional programmes. We are a diverse team of professionals with unique background in consulting and industry, acting as a talent hub. Do you have what it takes? The successful candidate comes with a Masters’ degree in Economics , Business Administration/ Management, or a similar field combined with extensive professional experience. This includes: Substantial experience from a top-tier management consultancy . Additional experience in FMCG and/or Retail within the business development or strategy teams is a plus . Passion for driving commercial performance coupled with functional experience Leads with integrity, builds trust, and fosters high performing teams A p roven track record of delivering critical strategic projects and initiatives ; ability to e asily shift between abstract strategic discussions and operational details to drive projects including scoping, analysis and recommendations . A s trategic mindset coupled with top-notch quantitative and analytical skills that allow you to extract logic, insights and meaningful conclusions from complex business problems . Excellent communication skills, ability to develop compelling presentations for the ELT and BoD .
