About the role We are looking for an IT Operations Manager to join our Global IT organisation and play a key role in ensuring that NNE's global IT services are secure, reliable, and aligned with the needs of our business. In Global IT, we deliver value to the business through robust IT operations and infrastructure. As IT Operations Manager, you will lead a small team of specialists across Denmark and India, taking ownership of the daily delivery and continuous improvement of our IT infrastructure and end-user services. You will deliver this through a strong mix of internal capabilities and strategic vendor partnerships, spanning both NNE employees and service provider resources. Working closely with business stakeholders, you will translate evolving needs into stable, efficient, and high-quality IT services that empower our colleagues to perform at their best. You will be accountable for the secure, reliable, and cost-effective delivery of the IT services our organisation depends on every day. Location Denmark - Virum Experience Minimum 5 Years Department Global IT How you might spend your days As IT Operations Manager, you’ll be: Leading a small IT Operations team of specialists across Denmark and India, ensuring reliable day-to-day delivery of IT infrastructure, service desk, print services, meeting rooms / AV, and other end-user services Owning Service Delivery Management — holding our IT outsourcing partner accountable to agreed SLAs and creating the conditions for strong, collaborative delivery Driving operational excellence across IT infrastructure, end-user IT services, license management, and AV facilities, continuously improving stability, performance, and cost Keeping close dialogue with the business and aligning with stakeholders so IT services stay matched to changing needs Who you are We care about who you are as a person. As a person, you are: Thriving in a role where you will lead by example and being hands-on, supporting the team in day-to-day delivery A skilled people manager who fosters teamwork and engagement to deliver great service to the line of business Possessing great stakeholder management skills, securing clear communication that keeps stakeholders and vendors informed and aligned Structured and service-minded, staying calm and decisive when operational issues arise Comfortable in a cross-cultural setting, and able to communicate clearly in written and spoken English — the IT team is international, and department meetings are conducted in English What you bring to the role In all positions, there are some things that are preferred, and others, a bonus. If you do not meet all the qualifications listed below, you are welcome to offer alternative experience that you think would be valuable in this role: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field 5-8 years of experience within IT infrastructure and operations, including team leadership Solid experience with vendor management and IT outsourcing, including SLA and service-delivery governance Experience with service-management frameworks (e.g. ITIL) and a track record of improving IT service delivery Experience with Microsoft technologies and enterprise IT infrastructure Life at NNE NNE is short for Novo Nordisk Engineering.
