Nordics Content Manager, DK: Kuglegårdsvej 7 | Xero Skip to main content Menu Nordics Content Manager Apply Now Apply Now Save Saved Open sharing options The Role Our Purpose At Planday, our vision is to power the global workforce marketplace by connecting people to relevant and meaningful work, while helping businesses build engaged, high-performing and flexible teams. Founded in Copenhagen, Planday helps shift-based businesses manage their workforce more effectively through scheduling, communication and workforce management tools. Today, as part of the Xero family, we support hundreds of thousands of users across Europe and continue to grow our presence across key markets. About this role We are looking for a Nordics Content Manager to define and drive our content approach across Denmark, Norway and Sweden. This is a unique role within the marketing team. The Nordics are Planday's most established and brand-aware markets, but that does not mean central campaigns will always land in the right way. This role exists to bring a Nordic-first lens to content strategy — understanding where global narratives can work, where they need reshaping, and where the region needs its own ideas, stories and execution. Working closely with Brand, Product Marketing, Regional Marketing, Sales and Design, you will lead the development of content that is relevant, distinctive and effective in the Nordic market. You will combine strategic judgement with hands-on creation, helping ensure Planday's content in the region is not simply adapted, but genuinely built for the audience, the market and the moment. You will also take ownership of Planday's global LinkedIn presence — using the strong editorial judgement and storytelling instincts this role demands to build brand credibility and authority at scale across our most important social channel. You will be the key content partner for the Nordics, connecting brand direction and campaign priorities to high-quality regional execution. How you'll make an impact Success in this role will come from strengthening Planday's content presence in the Nordic market through: Leading a Nordic-first content strategy that reflects local audience needs and market realities Creating original content that strengthens brand relevance and supports commercial priorities Ensuring regional content feels distinctive, effective and grounded in Nordic insight Identifying where central campaigns can be activated successfully and where original regional content is needed Raising the quality, consistency and strategic value of content across Nordic activity Turning customer insight, product value and market understanding into stronger stories and more effective content Supporting regional teams with content that is both on-brand and built for the market Building Planday's brand credibility and authority through a well-run, consistently excellent LinkedIn presence What you'll doNordic Content Strategy Lead content strategy for the Nordic region, ensuring it reflects both overall brand direction and the realities of local markets. Identify content opportunities based on commercial priorities, audience needs, product stories, customer insight and market context. Shape a Nordic-first approach to content creation, deciding when central campaigns can be used effectively and when the region needs something more tailored or original. Content Creation and Activation Create original content for Nordic audiences across social, web, email, video and campaign-support formats. Write and edit a wide range of content including social copy, campaign assets, landing page copy, scripts, customer stories, light editorial content and sales-support materials. Own and maintain Nordic content calendars aligned to launches, campaigns, events and key market moments. Repurpose broader campaign narratives, customer stories and internal insights into high-quality regional content assets. LinkedIn and Social Presence Own and manage Planday's global LinkedIn channel on an organic basis — planning, writing and publishing content that builds brand authority, grows engagement and reflects Planday's editorial voice. Develop a consistent organic content rhythm that balances brand storytelling, product proof points, customer stories and thought leadership — with a focus on genuine creative quality over volume. Work with the broader content and brand team to ensure LinkedIn amplifies key campaigns, launches and moments in a way that feels credible and channel-right — not just repurposed. Note: paid activity on LinkedIn sits outside this role. This is a creative and editorial ownership of the channel, focused on building an audience and brand presence through strong, original content. Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with Brand, Product Marketing, Regional Marketing, Sales and Design to turn business priorities into effective market-facing content. Act as a key regional voice in content planning, helping ensure Nordic needs are represented in wider campaign development. Brief and guide creative output with internal teams, freelancers or agency partners where needed. Insight, Performance and Quality Stay close to regional market dynamics, customer behaviour, channel trends and competitor activity to inform stronger content decisions. Monitor content performance — including LinkedIn — and use insight to improve planning, execution and effectiveness over time. Maintain high editorial standards and ensure all content aligns with Planday's tone of voice, messaging principles and brand expectations, while still feeling locally relevant. What you'll bring with you Experience: Around 5 years' experience in content marketing, content strategy, editorial or social/content roles, ideally within B2B SaaS or a technology-led business. Strategic approach: Able to think beyond individual assets and shape content direction based on audience insight, business priorities and market context. Content creation: A strong writer and editor with experience creating clear, engaging, high-quality content across multiple formats and channels. Regional judgement: Confident deciding when to adapt central content and when to create something more locally relevant from scratch. Social and LinkedIn: A creative at heart, with experience owning a brand's organic LinkedIn presence — from planning and writing to publishing and tracking what resonates. Understands what makes content genuinely land on the platform, not just what fills the calendar. No paid media experience required. Collaboration: Comfortable working cross-functionally with Brand, Product Marketing, Regional Marketing, Sales and Design, and able to influence shared priorities. Performance driven: Uses insight, audience understanding and content performance data to improve quality and effectiveness over time. Tools: Familiarity with content, design or editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut or similar. A basic understanding of SEO and website content performance is a plus. Self-starter: Strong ownership, curiosity, editorial judgement and a clear sense of what good content looks like.
