About the position Pizzeria MaMeMi is looking for a skilled and passionate pizzaiolo to join the team in Copenhagen. At MaMeMi, pizza is at the heart of the experience. The restaurant is known for Roman-style pizza with a thin, crispy crust, seasonal toppings and a strong focus on Italian food and wine culture. The restaurant is located at Mysundegade 28, 1668 Copenhagen V. MaMeMi was founded by Daniel Di Pierro, Danilo Barletta and Francesco Barletta, who grew up near Rome and brought their shared love for Italian cuisine to Copenhagen. Today, the restaurant combines childhood memories, craftsmanship and hospitality in a warm and informal setting on Vesterbro. MaMeMi is proudly ranked among the 22 best pizzerias in Europe, making it one of the continent’s leading destinations for Roman-style pizza. Alongside the pizzas, MaMeMi offers a carefully selected range of organic Italian wines, creating a full Italian dining experience in the heart of Vesterbro. As pizzaiolo, you will become an important part of the kitchen team and help deliver the quality, consistency and flavour that guests return for. Your responsibilities Prepare and bake Roman-style pizzas with focus on quality, texture and consistency Work with dough, toppings, mise en place and daily preparation Ensure that every pizza reflects MaMeMi’s style, standards and attention to detail Contribute to a clean, structured and efficient kitchen workflow Follow hygiene, food safety and HACCP standards Work closely with the rest of the team to ensure smooth service Help maintain a positive, professional and respectful kitchen culture We are looking for someone who Has experience as a pizzaiolo, pizza chef or from a professional kitchen Has strong interest in Italian food culture and Roman-style pizza Works with precision, structure and respect for ingredients Can stay calm and focused during busy service Enjoys working as part of a team Is reliable, flexible and brings a positive attitude to work Speaks English; Italian or Danish is a plus We offer A position in one of Europe’s top-ranked pizzerias, where quality and craftsmanship are at the centre of everything we do Competitive hourly salary starting from DKK 175 per hour, with opportunities for growth based on experience and performance The opportunity to work with Roman-style pizza, seasonal ingredients and Italian food traditions A professional and passionate team with strong knowledge of pizza and wine A workplace with a warm atmosphere, high standards and respect for craftsmanship Opportunities to learn, develop and take responsibility About Pizzeria MaMeMi Pizzeria MaMeMi is an Italian pizzeria and wine bar located on Vesterbro in Copenhagen.
