To accelerate this journey, we have established the Enterprise AI team,team responsible for providing the AI platforms, infrastructure, governance frameworks, and enterprise-grade AI capabilities that enable innovation across the organization. As a Principal AI Platform & Agent Specialist, you will serve as a senior technical leader within our Enterprise AI function. You will drive the scalability, governance, and operational excellence of AI agents, AI platforms, and enterprise connectors. You will play a key role in defining how AI capabilities are deployed, managed, secured, and consumed across SimCorp. This position combines deep technical expertise in AI platforms and cloud technologies with strategic leadership, enabling business teams and technology functions to adopt AI safely, efficiently, and at scale. What you will be responsible for Lead the design and implementation of scalable AI platforms, leveraging Microsoft Azure AI capabilities, AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, large language models, and emerging AI technologies. Establish best practices for AI agent lifecycle management, including onboarding, governance, monitoring, optimization, and retirement. Design and oversee enterprise-grade MCP connectors, APIs, and integration patterns that enable secure and reliable access to business systems and data sources. Establish operating standards and governance practices for enterprise AI agents, AI automations, and AI-enabled workflows, working within the enterprise architecture Drive operational excellence across Enterprise AI services, ensuring reliability, performance, observability, resilience, and cost efficiency. Partner closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, security, architecture, risk, and compliance functions to ensure AI solutions meet business needs and organizational standards. Establish governance frameworks, guardrails, and operating practices to ensure responsible AI adoption, regulatory compliance, and secure deployment of AI technologies. Stay current with advancements in AI, agent frameworks, orchestration technologies, and industry best practices, translating innovation into practical enterprise capabilities Mentor engineers and specialists within the Enterprise AI team, building technical excellence and continuous learning Type of work this role engages with: Designing and scaling AI agent ecosystems and automation platforms. AI governance, security, compliance, and operational frameworks. Cross-functional technical leadership and stakeholder engagement. Cloud platform observability, reliability, and optimization. Technical mentoring and capability development. Evaluating emerging AI technologies and defining adoption roadmaps. Leading AI initiatives impacting the whole organization from initial concept to full production support WHAT WE VALUE Extensive experience designing and operating enterprise-scale AI, cloud, or platform solutions. Deep expertise with Microsoft Azure, including Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure Policies, identity and access management, infrastructure governance, and cloud operations. Practical experience creating, deploying, and maintaining AI agents with platforms such as Copilot Studio, Claude, OpenAI, Azure AI Services, or comparable technologies Solid understanding of MCP (Model Context Protocol), API-based integrations, orchestration frameworks, and enterprise connectivity patterns Demonstrated expertise in setting operational standards for reliability, monitoring, incident response, and service improvement Experience implementing security, governance, compliance, and responsible AI controls in enterprise environments. Ability to balance innovation with risk management, ensuring rapid adoption while maintaining enterprise standards. Effective communication and relationship-building skills, with the capacity to connect with both technical and business audiences Preferred Experience Knowledge of AI observability, evaluation frameworks, prompt management, model monitoring, and agent performance optimization. Experience with cloud-native architecture, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and platform engineering practices. Experience implementing enterprise AI governance frameworks and responsible AI practices Understanding financial services, fintech, or highly regulated environments.
