Role: Radiotherapy Review Team Leader

Location: The Harley Street Clinic, Central London

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Shift times: Service is open from 08:30-5.30pm

Contract type: 12 Month fixed term

We have an exciting opportunity for a Pre-Treatment Team Leader to join our team at The Harley Street Clinic, currently rated Outstanding by the CQC.

We provide a range of complex care services, specialising in oncology, cardiology and neuroscience. From pioneering techniques to treat cancer to open heart surgery, our clinicians work together to provide the best possible care and treatments for our patients. Main duties of the job

The post holder will work as an autonomous practitioner within the radiotherapy review team, providing specialist review services for patients undergoing radiotherapy treatment. Working closely with Clinical Nurse Specialists, you will assess and monitor patients throughout their treatment pathway, managing treatment-related side effects, providing expert advice and support, and coordinating care with consultants and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure a seamless patient experience. The role will also contribute to patient education, service development, clinical governance and audit activities, whilst maintaining the highest standards of patient-centred care.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced therapy radiographer who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient-centred care and looking to further develop their expertise within a specialist area of radiotherapy. Whether you already have experience within a patient review role or are currently working as an experienced therapy radiographer and are keen to develop within this area, full support and training will be provided to help you succeed.

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

What youll bring: BSc (Hons) in Therapeutic Radiography . HCPC registration Minimum of 4 years experience working as a radiographer, with some experience at team lead level preferable. Radiotherapy review experience (desirable, but not essential)
