Job summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Officer to join Beverley PCN Limited. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering projects across the neighbourhood area of Beverley in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

As Project Officer, you will lead and coordinate projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organisational objectives.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by supporting our wider neighborhood partnership including the voluntary sector, Public Health East Riding Council, adult and children services and community services to make the sum of our parts greater than the whole.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Project Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting project planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring that project objectives are met on time and within scope.

You will liaise with our neighborhood partners, and assist in the development and delivery of plans to impact the patient population of Beverley.

About us

Beverley Primary Care Network originally started in 2019, consists of 3 member practices namely Manor Road Surgery, North Beverley Medical Centre and the Old Fire Station Surgery. It has a patient population of just over 31,000 and is committed to doing the very best for its patients.

Since its inception, Beverley PCN has developed a Care Home Team that consists of a Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician, Paramedics and Care Coordinator. It also has General Practice Assistants, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, MSK First Contact Practitioners and a Social Prescriber, amongst the team supporting our member practices and delivering great care to the Beverley population.

Assist in the development of project plans, including scope, objectives, and timelines while ensuring alignment with organizational goals Coordinate project activities by liaising with internal teams and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders and adjusting plans as necessary Maintain comprehensive project documentation and reports, ensuring all project information is up to date and accessible Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact

Assist in the planning and execution of projects by coordinating schedules, resources, and tasks Support project documentation efforts including meeting notes, project plans, and status reports Facilitate communication between project stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency Monitor project progress and report on key milestones and deliverables Assist in identifying project risks and help develop mitigation strategies

Person Specification

Skills Essential

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Basic understanding of project management methodologies Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to working with diverse teams Proactive problem solver with the ability to think critically and adapt to changing circumstances Commitment to continuous improvement and eagerness to learn Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Willingness to learn and adapt

Desirable

Advanced Project Management Knowledge - Prince 2 experienced Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive attitude

Qualifications Essential

GCSE English and Maths Grade C or above or equivalent Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Basic understanding of project management methodologies

Desirable

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent

Experience Essential

1 years of experience in project management or coordination roles

Experience of working in Primary Care
