Pricing Solutions Design Description - The Pricing Solutions Lead translates business requirements from global and regional markets into curated, well-structured pricing requirements that drive agentic (AI) pricing solutions. Working across pricing teams and technology partners, the role also identifies and specifies opportunities to streamline and automate manual steps within existing pricing processes — helping the organization implement change faster and more consistently.
Responsibilities • Identifies research, tools, and analysis required to achieve objectives for multiple workstreams or projects. • Conducts extensive research on businesses, industries, and competitors, applying structured analytical approaches to develop comprehensive project strategies. • Manages the development of financial and statistical models, structures analytical approaches, and oversees the data-gathering process. • Selects key information and conclusions to develop a comprehensive set of recommendations for optimizing business and financial performance. • Manages cross-functional teams and communications to facilitate projects and ensure timely delivery to clients. • Manages the development of project guidelines, contingency plans, objectives, and deliverables to drive successful outcomes. • Consults with business leaders on a wide range of issues related to the strategy formulation process and related projects. • Drafts and presents client deliverables, recommendations and communication strategies. • Monitors and incorporates emerging trends in strategic planning, ensuring that the organization remains agile and competitive. • Leverages strategic and management consulting frameworks to implement a comprehensive portfolio approach for evaluating and managing the organization's diverse business units, platforms, and products. • Requirements translation. Gather business needs from market pricing teams and translate them into clear, curated pricing requirements that drive agentic and automated solutions. • Requirements definition. Author detailed business requirements — scope, success criteria, data needs, and hand-off specifications — for the agentic pricing roadmap. • Process mapping. Map current-state pricing workflows to identify friction, bottlenecks, and opportunities for automation or improvement. • Process automation. Specify and develop ad-hoc automations that remove manual, repetitive steps from pricing processes, in partnership with technology owners and within established governance. • Solution orchestration. Coordinate with IT and platform partners so solutions are documented, supportable, and aligned to enterprise standards. • Enablement & adoption. Document solutions and support pricing users so new tools and automations are adopted effectively
Education & Experience Recommended • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. • Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in strategic management, strategic planning and implementation, consulting, market research, or a related field.
