Job Description: This job is responsible for performing complex analysis and modeling to minimize loss exposure and negative impacts to the customer experience. Key responsibilities include utilizing a variety of systems such as Excel, SAS, SQL, Tableau, and other relational data bases to provide analytical support on strategies and ensure goals are met. Job expectations include evaluating data to assess potential fraud risk and create mitigation strategies.
Responsibilities:
• Analyzes and interprets large sets of raw data to recommend ways to help the business achieve desired outcomes and make informed business decisions
• Defines, gathers, analyzes, and interprets data using applications and technologies to forecast future trends and communicates to leaders and partners the statistical analysis results and predictions
• Coordinates the production of product performance reports and updates for senior management
Line of Business Description: This position is responsible for developing analysis of Credit Assistance call and contact data designed to help our customers through difficult times while mitigating losses for the Bank. The analyst must be able to work independently to develop recommendations that consider their research and analysis, the regulatory framework, and competing strategies. The analyst must then utilize communication and influencing techniques to build consensus and drive implementation. This high visibility position offers a unique opportunity to interact with senior managers and drive significant business results.
Responsibilities:
• Perform analytics on the unsecured products (Consumer Card, Small Business Card, and Deposits) delinquent and/or recovery portfolio. These analytics support multiple functions including account selection, segmentation, treatment, and payment program offers.
• Analyzes and interprets large sets of raw data to recommend ways to help the business achieve desired outcomes and make informed business decisions
• Defines, gathers, analyzes, and interprets data using applications and technologies to forecast future trends and communicates to leaders and partners the statistical analysis results and predictions
• Coordinates the production of product performance reports and updates for senior management
Required Qualifications:
• Must have current Credit Assistance experience.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with 3+ years’ experience of driving business results
• Intellectually curious with a mind for innovation and proven ability to execute objectives in a data driven environment
• The ability to grasp new concepts and collaborate across different teams/business units in order to drive change
• Goal oriented individual who maintains their composure in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• A proven ability to quickly and accurately condense robust and complex data from various sources into meaningful information to drive strategic change across different portfolios
• An individual who can demonstrate an aptitude to design and implement a test-and-learn approach to manage our company’s exposure to risk
• Skilled with MS Office (Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint) and SQL
• Proficient at written and oral communication, including presentation skills
