Position Summary : This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns. Senior Mainframe developer with good analytical skills and extensive DB2 SQL knowledge. Well-experienced in general application development and maintenance, hands on proficiency in Cobol DB2 batch process, Native and Cobol Stored Procedure DB2, CICS applications as well as NDM Secure + and FTPS transmission and scripting, knowledgeable in creating and executing Test Scripts, produce project documentation and system flowcharts.
Responsibilities:
• Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements • Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained • Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack • Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle • Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas • Automates manual release activities • Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)
Required Qualifications
• 10+ years of extensive experience working in mainframe who has hands-on involvement in all SDLC tasks, especially Batch Jobs and Native Stored Procedure implementation in production • Technical proficiency to use the IBM Data Studio • Hands on experience with the Native (SQL) and Cobol Stored Procedures • Experience in transforming legacy mainframe jobs using DataStage or Informatica distributed platforms • Ability to read and code JCLs, PROCs and COBOL programs • DB2 Rest APIs • IBM Developer for zOS Systems (IDZ) • Native Stored Procedure (NSP) , Cobol SPs, Dynamic SQL, Job scheduling, JCL, NDM Scripting & CICS • Experienced in presenting data points through dynamic SQL reports. • Strong understanding of Git version control, CI/CD, ISPW and ability to work in an agile and fast paced environment • Very good problem-solving skills • Very good communication skills, both written and oral, are required as the individual must interface with application developers, support teams and management

Pay range
$102,900.00 - $179,900.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
