Job Description Summary Lead and maintain Systemic & operational FK & ME product Quality topics to ensure the process & products meet the GE Vernova standards. Focused on daily routine deliverables on quality KPI (CoPQ, FPY, Net Promoter Score (NPS), ACT Say/DO ratio (SDR), QSNC handling, Customer Defect rate (CDR) & 8D/PSR), New Product Introduction, ECN, continuous improvement, process audits, product failure analysis, Pre-Dispatch Inspections, Customer Audits, QMS and customer meetings. At this dynamic situation to complete efficiently his task/duties self-driven and collaborative with the teams.
Need to travel to supplier / inter units. Need basis in shift.
Job Description Roles and Responsibilities
• Monitor, analyse and report manufacturing Quality KPI’s (FPY, CoQ, rework, Scrap, QSNC, ECN’s, FAT customer feedback, PFMEA, MSA)
• Promotion of zero defect and stop the line culture.
• Implement and maintain the ISO process, internal documentations, inspection records as per the ISO and QAP
• Continuous Improvement mind set to conduct Control level (L1/L2) audit, PFMEA, MSA, site / product audits and implement actions to prevent non-conformities and to improve process/product performance
• Be the ECN agent with timelines
• Lead and ensure the implementation of the critical manufacturing process audits and roll out reports to implement effective CAPA
• Analyses the QSNC, perform root cause analysis (RCA), CAPA implementation and lead other quality related engagements.
• Engineering quality control on BOM audits, drawing quality and LV scheme checks
• Product failure analysis and report for product/process improvement
• Coordinate the delivery of the Quality Contractual Documentation to meet the delivery timeline/FAT
• Ensure that Return of Experience (RoE) of similar projects are converted into documentation and communicate to CFT/operators
• Lead/participate in the customer / Interunit audit / inspections
• Extend technical support to service and commissioning team
• Liaising with external parties' customers, suppliers and subcontractors on matters related to Quality
• Be able to work independently with minimal supervision and lead the team.
Required Qualifications & Experience
• Graduate Engineer certificate in the discipline Electrical or mechanical
• More than 10 years of experience in Quality
• Exposure/Expertise in ISO 9001, Control Level L1/L2 Audits, PFMEA, MSA, Customer audit
• Knowledge of Problem-Solving Methodologies and Tools, Six sigma, VSM
• Working in various customer time zone
• Customer focused
• Excellent continuous improvement mind set/change agent
