Job Description Summary Serving as the strategic delivery hub for the plant, this role is dedicated to optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations to better serve our production and business needs. This role will be responsible for material supply, warehouse management, and finished goods logistics, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective fulfillment of all operational requirements. By fostering deep cross-functional collaboration and leveraging digital solutions, this role will align supply chain performance with the plant’s strategic objectives, driving operational excellence and competitive advantage.
Job Description Roles and Responsibilities
• Supply Assurance & Execution: Manage plant material supply planning and execution. Coordinate closely with production schedules through rigorous demand analysis and scheduling to ensure seamless material availability, while continuously optimizing total supply costs through improved logistics, batching, and packaging strategies, etc. • Warehouse Operations: Oversee all warehouse activities, including layout optimization and site management, to ensure 100% inventory accuracy (system vs. physical) and operational safety. • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and implement alert mechanisms. Optimize inventory structure and turnover rates while minimizing stagnant stock to reduce carrying costs. • Finished Goods Logistics & Delivery: Manage finished goods receiving and coordinate transportation based on customer orders and shipping schedules to ensure timely delivery to ports. • Indirect Procurement: Responsible for the procurement of low-value indirect items and services required for factory operations. Streamline related purchasing processes to ensure cost-effectiveness, contract compliance, and timely delivery. • Projects Management: Responsible for Cost-out and other Kaizen projects. Lead, guide & coach project team members to achieve required targets. • Cross-functional Collaboration & Compliance: Maintain data accuracy in the Races system and ensure strict adherence to internal control procedures. Actively drive the development of digital system functionalities to enhance operational efficiency, and proactively collaborate with Sales, Production, and Global Procurement to resolve delivery anomalies. • Team Development: Responsible for building and leading a high-performing team. Provide coaching, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and manage performance to ensure the team is aligned with the factory's operational goals.
Required Qualifications
• For roles outside of the USA- This role requires advanced experience in the Sourcing & Buying-Procurement. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university. At least 3 years related working experience. Fluent English skill in both written and speaking. • For roles in USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
