Summary: Responsible for the safe set-up, maintaining, and operating the robotic welder and tooling.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Required to understand and follow all company policies and procedures • Ensure that all guards and safety equipment have been installed and properly checked • Read and interpret blueprints • Required to maintain all production standards • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the Maintenance Mechanics and Management on robotic welder • Perform other tasks as assigned • Responsible to maintain a safe working environment for all employees • Required to understand and follow all safety policies and procedures • Required to understand and follow work procedures as set forth by all ISO documentation • Required to maintain quality standards on all products • Set-up, program, and maintain the robotic welder tooling and equipment • Work to improve processes for robotic welder • Adhere to ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental, and OSHAS 18001 certification requirements • Requires regular attendance per the schedule assigned by supervisor Required Skills/Abilities:
• Thorough, accurate, and works error free • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within manufacturing environment • Mechanical skills; must be able to operate and set-up machinery • Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or its equivalent, desired • Robotic programming and welding knowledge, 2 years or equivalent education
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
• Typical office/factory environment with possibility of exposure to heat in production areas • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. in a safe manner • Clarity of vision and the ability to focus on a fast and repetitious operation for extended period of time • Exposure to heavy equipment or components needed to produce product (safety toed shoes required) • Exposure to sparks, chips, and dust (eye protection required) • Must be capable of maintaining a 40-hour workweek and working overtime as needed • Must be able to perform repetitive motion. Examples: walking, reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods of time • Exposure to machine noise levels (hearing protections required) • Exposure to electrical and mechanical moving parts • Exposure to extreme seasonal temperature conditions Please submit your application via the ‘Apply’ button.
