Manufacturing Production manages or assists with various production activities (e.g., assembly, material forming/shaping, processing, treating, or packaging, etc.) including: •Planning, directing, monitoring and/or operating machine tool, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards •Maintaining accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis •Identifying need, Planning, prioritizing, and managing production line or machine maintenance/downtime to minimize disruptions •May liase with other departments as input to developing production schedules and allocating labor/capital resources An entry-level position typically requiring little to no prior knowledge or experience. • Work is routine or follows standard procedures. • Work is closely supervised. • Communicates information that requires little explanation or interpretation. Production of wound care intermediates through operation of process equipment
Duties and Responsibilities
• Raw material handling and preparation. • Operation of process equipment. • Coaching and mentoring new operators in how to operate equipment and complete processes. • Completion of batch documentation inline with Good documentation Practice (GDP). • Performance monitoring and basic fault finding of processes. • Compliance with Operating procedures and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). • Cleaning and general maintenance of work area. • Compliance with company Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements. • Completed batch handling and packaging • Co-ordinate CI activities, MIB, Kaizen and 5S • Implement Improvements following CI activities • Maintain CI standards
Education/Experience/Qualifications
• Basic skills (English and Mathematics) • Demonstrates understanding and application of company procedures, EHS and GMP requirements. • Demonstrates competency, flexibility and consistency in the core Rhymney production processes.
Working Conditions
Role involves shift working (8 hour rotating double day pattern) Role based in combination of Clean rooms and production areas.
