Salary & Pay : Grade 7 SP 11; £32,070 pa FTE; £19,009.66 pa Actual Salary

Hours: 22.5 hours per week Monday to Friday; 43 weeks per year

About the Role

Key responsibilities:

Act as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL), working closely with the Headteacher and DSL. Build strong, trusting relationships with families, particularly those who are hardest to reach.Provide early intervention and tailored support for families experiencing challenges such as financial hardship, domestic violence, and mental health concerns.Deliver therapeutic interventions for children, supporting positive behaviour and wellbeing.Work closely with the SENCo and external agencies to support children with additional needs.Improve attendance and signpost families to appropriate services. The successful applicant will be:

Passionate about improving outcomes for children and families.Empathetic, approachable, and able to build positive relationships quickly.Experienced in safeguarding, child protection, and multi-agency working.Confident in supporting children with social, emotional and behavioural needs.Organised, resilient, and able to manage a varied and challenging workload.Part time may be considered for the right candidate.About the Trust
