As a Credit Analyst, you will play a vital role in our Back Office department, contributing to the financial stability and growth of our company. Your primary responsibility will be to assess the creditworthiness of potential clients, analyze financial data, and make informed recommendations to mitigate risks.
• Conduct thorough credit analyses and evaluations of prospective clients' financial statements, credit histories, and other relevant data. • Prepare comprehensive credit reports, including risk assessments and recommendations, for internal stakeholders. • Collaborate with the underwriting team to develop credit policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. • Monitor and analyze market trends, industry-specific risks, and economic factors that may impact credit decisions. • Maintain accurate records of credit assessments, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in credit analysis and risk management. • Provide support and guidance to junior analysts, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. • Participate in periodic reviews of existing credit facilities, assessing client performance and market conditions. • Assist in the development and implementation of credit scoring models, leveraging advanced analytics techniques. • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance your expertise in credit analysis and financial risk management.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, with a strong academic record. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or a similar role, preferably within the BFSI sector. • Proficiency in financial statement analysis, ratio analysis, and credit scoring methodologies. • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly. • Proficiency in using financial analysis software and tools, such as Excel, Bloomberg, or similar platforms. • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the BFSI industry. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity. • A proactive and collaborative approach to working within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
