Implementation Specialist – Executive Compensation Plans Jersey, Monday to Friday 35 hours per week Hybrid / On-site INTRO / JOB SUMMARY
The Implementation Specialist is responsible for onboarding and configuring executive compensation plans for new and existing clients, ensuring accurate plan setup, clean data migration, and a smooth transition into live operations. This role serves as the primary implementation contact, partnering closely with client compensation, HR, payroll, tax, and finance stakeholders, as well as CSC service and delivery teams. You will combine strong technical knowledge of equity and non-equity plans with structured project management and a high attention to detail. Success in this role is measured by compliant implementations, high client satisfaction, and sustainable long-term operations across Jersey and London client portfolios. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead end-to-end implementation and migration of executive compensation plans from contract signature through go-live, coordinating internal and client stakeholders throughout. • Gather, validate, reconcile, and migrate participant and plan data from legacy platforms and spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and audit-ready documentation. • Interpret plan rules, Trust Deeds, and governing documentation to configure plans correctly and consistently within the administration platform. • Configure plan features such as vesting schedules, exercise rules, leaver treatments, tax handling, and participant communications. • Validate system calculations, participant statements, and reporting outputs; investigate issues and drive resolution through to closure. • Create and manage implementation plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and status reporting; proactively identify and mitigate risks and blockers. • Support integrations and downstream readiness with payroll, HRIS, tax providers, and cap table tools where applicable. • Ensure implementation alignment with relevant tax and regulatory requirements (including UK HMRC-approved plans and international equity considerations) and support initial reporting readiness (e.g., HMRC ERS and other compliance/financial reporting needs). • Deliver client walkthroughs and training, produce clear handover documentation, and support early-life queries post go-live to reinforce adoption and operational confidence. Strategic Leadership & Business Growth
• Take the key role in building the foundations for future growth, establishing robust and scalable processes, structures and governance frameworks that support both immediate priorities and long-term ambitions • Work closely with senior leadership to help shape the future direction and growth of the business and implementation workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement, efficiency and innovation • Be part of the senior leadership team within Plan Operations and Delivery to enhance the ongoing evolution of the service and implementation structure, with increasing opportunity to influence organisational change, operating models and strategic priorities in line with business growth REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience implementing, onboarding, or administering executive compensation and equity plans (e.g., RSUs, stock options) in a financial services, professional services, or corporate environment. • Working knowledge of equity and non-equity compensation plan mechanics, plan documentation, and operational workflows from setup through go-live. • Demonstrated project management skills, including timeline management, stakeholder coordination, and risk/issue tracking. • Strong data skills, including data validation, reconciliation, and migration; high attention to detail and comfort working with large datasets. • Client-facing communication skills with the ability to explain technical setup decisions clearly to HR, payroll, tax, and finance audiences. • Experience operating in a compliance-focused environment with strong documentation and governance habits. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience implementing UK tax-advantaged plans and related processes (e.g., EMI, CSOP, SIP) and familiarity with HMRC ERS reporting concepts. • Experience with deferred compensation, carried interest, growth shares, or savings plans and related stakeholder requirements. • Exposure to integrations with payroll/HRIS/tax systems and cross-functional delivery across multiple jurisdictions. • Experience improving implementation workflows, building scalable processes, or contributing to operating model development in a growing team.
