The AI Portfolio & Delivery Oversight Department Manager leads the AI Transformation portfolio control tower, ensuring prioritized AI use cases move from intake through funding, delivery, adoption, and value realization. The Department Manager owns portfolio planning, executive reporting, delivery cadence, dependency management, and escalation of risks or blockers across Governance, Platform, vendors, and business stakeholders.

This role ensures a single, transparent AI portfolio that is prioritized, funded, governed, delivered, and measured for business value.

This position does not provide employment pursuant to the terms of a STEM OPT Training Plan.

Core Responsibilities • Manage the enterprise AI use-case portfolio, roadmap, priorities, and delivery sequence • Oversee intake, prioritization, funding alignment, business case development, and KPI/ROI tracking • Coordinate cross-functional execution across business owners, Governance, Platform, and delivery teams • Maintain portfolio dashboards, decision logs, risk/issues tracking, milestones, and executive reporting • Ensure use cases progress through the agreed operating model from demand to production and adoption • Escalate misalignment, delivery blockers, or decision-right gaps to senior leadership • Lead and develop a team of managers through coaching, performance management, and effective work assignment to drive aligned execution and business outcomes

Required Education/Experience • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant full-time work experience or

Preferred Education/Experience • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems, Information Systems or related business or technology aligned field and a minimum of 10 years of relevant full-time work experience in managing AI portfolios from intake to value realization

Relevant Work Experience • A minimum of 10 years of experience managing technology, AI, or digital transformation portfolios, including roadmap planning, prioritization, and delivery oversight in large enterprise environments, preferred • Demonstrated experience governing complex project or product portfolios, including intake processes, business case development, funding alignment, and value realization tracking, preferred • Proven ability to coordinate cross functional delivery across business stakeholders, technology teams, governance bodies, and external vendors, preferred • Experience developing and maintaining executive-level reporting, portfolio dashboards, KPIs, and risk or issue tracking to support leadership decision-making, preferred • Strong background in program or portfolio management methodologies, including dependency management, milestone tracking, and escalation management across multiple initiatives, preferred • Experience leading and developing managers or senior professionals responsible for portfolio execution, delivery governance, and operational performance, preferred

Licenses and Certifications • Driver's License Required • Project Management Professional (PMP) Preferred

Additional Physical Demands • The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays. • Ability to work off-hours as required to support deployments, help resolve production problems or respond to corporate emergencies
