• In a student employee capacity, may assist in working with external community service partners. Job Description: Description: Transformation Waco seeks passionate and knowledgeable individuals to join our STEAM education and outreach team in two key roles: STEAM Tutor and Lead STEAM Tutor. Both positions involve inspiring students through hands-on learning in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. The Lead Tutor will take on additional leadership responsibilities, including mentoring fellow tutors and supporting program development.
• Work with local organization(s) or community partners • Provide excellent customer service as a representative of the University • May assist with planning, organizing, and implementing community services or programs • May assist with various projects, activities or tasks related to community projects • May contribute to developing and maintaining good relationships with internal and external partners • May serve as a source to provide information about resources and assistance related to community program(s) or service(s) • May serve to enhance outreach for the greater Waco community • Ensure confidentiality of all pertinent information • May prepare and present information in a group or workshop setting • Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission • Ability to comply with University policies • Maintain regular and punctual attendance Employer: Baylor University Work Location: Transformation Waco Work Address: 300 N MLK Blvd Waco, Texas 76704
