About this role
Store Operations • Manage receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of materials as per company procedures. • Ensure proper material identification, preservation, and storage conditions. • Maintain accurate inventory records in SAP/ERP systems. • Monitor stock levels and ensure availability of critical spare parts and consumables. • Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconciliation. Inventory Management • Track inventory movement and maintain optimum stock levels. • Analyze consumption patterns and recommend reordering requirements. • Minimize inventory carrying costs while ensuring uninterrupted plant operations. • Identify slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory items and recommend corrective actions. Techno-Commercial Coordination • Coordinate with procurement teams for material requirements and purchase requisitions. • Review technical specifications and material requirements received from user departments. • Follow up with vendors and procurement teams for timely delivery of critical materials. • Support vendor evaluation and material standardization initiatives. • Assist in cost optimization and inventory reduction projects. Documentation & Compliance • Maintain all store-related records, GRNs, issue slips, and inventory reports. • Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and safety standards. • Prepare MIS reports related to stock status, inventory valuation, and material consumption. • Support internal and external audits related to inventory and stores.
Education • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Production Engineering, or related discipline. Experience • 3–8 years of experience in Stores, Inventory Management, Procurement Coordination, or Materials Management.
