Job summary
Expectation of shift Tuesdays 13.00 - 17.00 depending on service
As a Healthcare Assistant within the Adult Eating Disorders Service, you will work independently within outpatient clinic settings, providing physical health monitoring and supporting the safe and effective delivery of patient care.
Key responsibilities include:
Undertaking physical health monitoring for patients with eating disorders, including: Venepuncture (blood sample collection) Recording weight, height, and BMI Performing and recording ECGs Monitoring blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturations, and temperature as required

Previous healthcare, support worker, or care experience
A commitment to supporting individuals experiencing eating disorders and promoting recovery focused care.
About us
The post holder will be working alongside a Registered Nurse or GP to perform a range of nursing activities in GP practices or diagnostic hubs across Guildford and Waverley. Activities will include ECGs, phlebotomy and health checks.

Qualifications Essential
Evidence of a good level of education Certificate of competence in adult venepuncture NVQ level 2, Care certificate or equivalent
Desirable
NVQ Level 3, or equivalent
