Clinics are currently held twice monthly at each location, with clinic numbers anticipated to increase as the service expands.
Successful applicants must be available Monday mornings, Tuesday afternoons, and Thursday mornings.

Role Overview We are looking to expand our team and seeking a reliable and motivated Clinic Assistant to support our clinical team. This is a patient-facing role that combines some administrative duties with hands-on clinical support.
Requirements
Previous experience in a healthcare or clinical setting is desirable but not essential
Strong organisational and communication skills
Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused approach
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic IT skills and attention to detail

Role Purpose
The Skin Cancer Clinic Assistant provides clinical and administrative support to ensure the efficient delivery of high-quality skin cancer services. Working closely with clinicians, the role is responsible for preparing treatment rooms, assisting during procedures, maintaining infection control and stock management, providing patient education and information, and supporting the day-to-day operation of the clinic. The position plays a key role in delivering safe, compassionate, and patient-centred care while contributing to the smooth and effective running of the service. This role is varied and will have a wide scope; adaptability and flexibility are key.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring clinical areas are clean and well-stocked
Assisting clinicians during skin examinations and minor procedures
Maintaining infection control standards
Perform regular clinic stock checks and maintain stock rotation to prevent waste.
Providing patients with appropriate information sheets and post-procedure guidance
Supporting overall clinic operations as required
General

Qualifications
Qualification as Registered Nurse, or Assistant in Nursing.
CPR certification or willingness to obtain. GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
Knowledge and Experience
Experience of working in a healthcare environment
Experience in dermatology, skin cancer, general practice, or a procedural/surgical environment.
Experience with stock management and medical consumables.
Experience of providing administration support
Demonstrated knowledge of infection prevention and control principles.
Proficiency in computer systems and electronic medical records.
