Senior Financial Accountant About the job: The main purpose of the role is to operate and oversee the GL activities of legal entities(s). The Senior Financial Accountant will manage complex accounting.
• Coordinate the local and US GAAP GL entries for the group of companies • Prepare journal entries in line with US GAAP requirements and local statutory adjustments • Provide monthly reconciliation on key and non-key accounts • Manage non-recurring journals, ensure approvals and proper evidence • Audit support (internally and externally) • Support the implementation of an automated accounting tool, provide recommendations for accounting simplification projects • Solving accounting issues What we are looking for:
• Economics or Finance & Accounting BA/BSc degree • 3+ years finance and accounting experience • Experience in managing GL accounting and related SOX control • Fluency in English & Hungarian (both written and verbal) • Confident usage of ERP systems • Excel skills and general IT literacy • Outstanding attention to detail • Developed analytical, excellent interpersonal & problem-solving skills • Ability to meet priorities and deadlines, and to work under time pressure
