As a SHE Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving a strong Safety, Health, and Environment culture across our operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards. In this role, you will provide on-site leadership and support the implementation of SHE programs with a strong focus on personal safety, process safety, environmental sustainability, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify risks, strengthen compliance, and promote a safe and sustainable workplace for all employees and contractors.

What You Will Do Safety Leadership
• Lead and support the implementation of Safety, Health, and Environment policies, standards, and procedures. • Promote a proactive safety culture through employee engagement, coaching, and awareness programs. • Drive strong personal safety performance by identifying and mitigating workplace risks. Process Safety Management
• Support process safety programs including hazard identification, risk assessments, and critical risk management. • Participate in initiatives aimed at preventing major incidents and improving operational safety. • Ensure process safety requirements are effectively implemented and sustained. Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and Ecolab SHE requirements. • Conduct risk assessments, audits, inspections, and workplace evaluations. • Monitor corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closure and effectiveness. Incident Prevention & Continuous Improvement
• Support incident investigations and root cause analysis activities. • Develop and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. • Share best practices and lessons learned across the organization. Training & Awareness
• Deliver SHE training programs for employees and contractors. • Support the development of safety awareness campaigns and engagement initiatives. • Foster a strong culture of accountability and ownership for SHE performance. Environmental Sustainability
• Support sustainability initiatives related to environmental impact reduction, waste management, energy efficiency, and regulatory compliance. • Assist in achieving site environmental performance objectives and targets. Performance Monitoring
• Track and report SHE performance metrics and key indicators. • Provide regular updates and recommendations to site leadership. • Support emergency preparedness and response activities.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Science, Environmental Studies, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field. • 3-5 years of experience in Safety, Health & Environment roles. • Knowledge of local SHE regulations and compliance requirements. • Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, inspections, and incident investigations. • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across functions.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience within manufacturing, supply chain, industrial, chemical, or production environments. • Professional SHE certifications. • Familiarity with Process Safety Management (PSM), HAZOP, or similar risk management methodologies. • Experience leading sustainability or environmental improvement initiatives. • Continuous improvement experience and strong problem-solving capabilities.
