Facility: Mathile Center for Mental Health and WellnessDepartment: Mental Crisis ServicesSchedule: Full timeHours: 40Job Details: The Crisis Assessment Specialist provides emergency behavioral health pre-screening, psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, and referral management to patients and their families. Responsible for assisting patients and their families in understanding and learning to cope with behavioral crisis and facilitate appropriate transition or admission planning for those patients needing placement in Behavioral health treatment facilities or programs. Assist families in resolving complex personal and environmental difficulties which interfere with effective social functioning. This position will collaborate interdepartmentally with all divisions of the hospital.
Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling required
Certifications: Only one of the mentioned certifications required LSW Ohio - Ohio Licensed Social Worker - Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage & Family Therapist Board LPC - Licensed Professional Counselor - Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage & Family Therapist Board CPR certification preferred, not required.Department Specific Job Details:
• full time, 40 hours • Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM • off during summer months, insurance goes into arrears • serving the Crisis Center at the Mathile Center
