Job Summary As an IT Analyst you will support the Information Security team in strengthening client’s cybersecurity posture through security assurance, automation, monitoring, and governance initiatives. You will gain hands-on experience working with enterprise cybersecurity technologies while contributing to projects that protect client’s digital environment. Job Description We are looking for an IT Analyst who will support the Information Security team in delivering cybersecurity operations, security assurance, and process automation initiatives. This position will be full-time and onsite in Mandaluyong City. The ideal candidate is a recent graduate with a strong academic background and a passion for cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and IT operations. You should be analytical, proactive, eager to learn, and capable of collaborating with technical and business stakeholders in a dynamic enterprise environment. What You’ll Do
• Coordinate security assurance activities by gathering and validating evidence to ensure compliance with approved security baselines
• Analyze, monitor, and track external security findings, including brand protection, bug bounty, and security scorecards, and assist in the timely resolution of identified issues
• Configure dashboards and integrations for cybersecurity observability platforms such as Datadog to improve tool availability and monitoring
• Automate manual security operations by developing API integrations and automation scripts
• Review and coordinate user access for regular and privileged accounts across systems and applications
• Assist in developing, updating, and reviewing information security policies, standards, and procedures
• Support the preparation of business cases, proof of concept (PoC) documentation, testing activities, and project deliverables for cybersecurity initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support information security projects and operational activities
• Perform other cybersecurity and technology-related tasks as assigned by the ITD supervisors
What You’ll Need Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Good understanding of computer networks, databases, Windows and Linux operating systems, and web application security
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and information security best practices
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn new technologies
Preferred:
• Exposure to programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or SQL
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, or automation tools
• Exposure to ServiceNow, Jira, or Confluence
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Excel, or Python for data analysis
• Basic understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Exposure to IT governance frameworks such as ITIL or COBIT
• Pursuing or interested in certifications such as Security+, CEH, CISA, ITIL v4, or Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
