Position: Part-Time Faculty position - Composition Department: Language and Literature Discipline: English Composition
Bucks County Community College invites applications for a Part-Time Faculty position in English Composition. The successful candidate will teach all levels of English Composition courses on campus during daytime hours and support student success through high-quality instruction and meaningful engagement.
Major Job Duties
• Knowledge of course development, instruction, and evaluation. Knowledgeable in student learning using appropriate methods.
• Conduct an engaging classroom based on the course outline.
• Motivate students by demonstrating sensitivity to concerns and actively involving students in classroom discussions and/or activities.
• Complete all course assessments as required.
• Use technology to enhance teaching/learning in the classroom.
• Participating in the assessment process
• Maintaining current knowledge of professional discipline
• Attend Fall-In-service session and professional development requirement.
Minimum Qualifications
• Master's degree in English or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
Preferred Qualifications
• Community College teaching experience
