Part-Time Business Analyst (eCommerce Subscription Business)

We’re a fast-growing eCommerce subscription company looking for a part-time Business Analyst to help us track performance, uncover insights, and drive smarter decisions.

You’ll gather data from multiple platforms, organize it into clean dashboards, and translate numbers into clear stories that help guide growth.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain KPI dashboards for revenue, retention, churn, CAC, LTV, AOV, and fulfillment.Pull and clean data from Shopify, QuickBooks, Google Sheets, and marketing channels.Identify trends, risks, and opportunities in financial and operational data.Provide weekly and monthly summaries with actionable insights.Create simple, repeatable systems for reporting and analysis.

Requirements

3+ years experience in business analysis, FP&A, or data analytics.Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts).Strong understanding of subscription metrics (CAC, LTV, MRR, churn, ARPU).Familiarity with Shopify, QuickBooks, and common eCommerce data sources.Excellent communication skills — able to explain insights clearly and visually.Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.Deliverables: Weekly KPI dashboard (LTV, CAC, churn, retention, MRR, AOV, active subs, new vs. canceled).Monthly performance summary with trends, insights, and key takeaways.Clean, reliable data pulled from Shopify, QuickBooks, and marketing platforms.Cohort analysis showing subscriber retention and churn patterns.LTV:CAC ratio tracking and payback period calculations.Financial snapshot: revenue, COGS, margins, and contribution profit.Documented reporting process (data sources, update steps, definitions).Ad-hoc analysis to answer strategic questions or model “what-if” scenarios.
