The Role: As a Release Train Engineer you will work with teams to prioritise features to be considered in each planning cycle organising and driving SAFe events working with multiple teams collectively. Day-to-day, you will collectively plan the short-term development cycles, ART sync at every stage, demos, workshops and backlog refinement in an exciting fast paced environment. Your responsibilities will include: <ul> <li style="line-height:normal;background-color:white">Collaborating and driving cross-team collaborating in the ART resolving departmental challenges whilst fostering open communication between teams and stakeholders</li> <li style="line-height:normal;background-color:white">Understanding and managing upstream and downstream dependencies and collaborating with the Product Manager</li> <li style="line-height:normal;background-color:white">Driving value-delivery and improving the product through effective use of data</li> <li style="line-height:normal;background-color:white">Providing leadership to project teams acting as a consultant and coach to resolve contingencies and complex issues</li> <li style="line-height:normal;background-color:white">Advocating the adoption of Agile and SAFe practices deploying these practices to tailor to the organisations needs</li> <li style="line-height:normal;background-color:white">Managing program-level coordination creating timelines, setting milestones ensuring the program’s overall cost , time and performance</li> </ul> Essential experience of the Release Train Engineer: <ul> <li style="line-height:normal;background-color:white">Extensive experience of working in a SAFe delivery environment</li> <li style="line-height:normal;background-color:white">Strong knowledge or experience of Software Development within a development environment</li> <li style="line-height:normal;background-color:white">The ability to manage stakeholders effectively</li> <li style="line-height:normal;background-color:white">Previous experience resolving conflict and coaching Scrum Masters and Team coaches</li> <li style="line-height:normal;background-color:white">Proven experience leading project teams to deliver complex solutions initiating critical thinking</li> </ul> Essential qualifications for the Release Train Engineer: <ul> <li style="line-height:normal;background-color:white">Scaled Agile Framework Certification</li> </ul> We value difference and we don’t have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.
