Standing 51.5 metres high and formed as a striking Möbius strip, the structure will feature one million bricks, each representing a story of answered prayer, creating a lasting symbol of hope visible from up to six miles away. As Main Contractor and Principal Designer, VSL UK is responsible for the design, engineering, and construction of this iconic structure, drawing on its expertise in complex structural engineering, heavy lifting, and technically challenging construction projects. <h2>Role Overview</h2> VSL is seeking a Quality & Environmental Engineer to join the project delivery team responsible for the successful delivery of the Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer. The role will support the implementation, monitoring, and continual improvement of the project's Quality and Environmental Management Systems, ensuring construction activities are delivered in accordance with company procedures, client requirements, and recognised industry standards. Working closely with operational teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders, the position will play a key role in promoting compliance, supporting audits and inspections, managing quality and environmental risks, and driving a culture of continuous improvement across the project. <h2>Main Responsibilities</h2> Quality Management <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, Experience <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Degree, HNC, or HND in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, Quality Management, or a related discipline.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Approximately 3–5 years' experience within civil engineering, infrastructure, geotechnical, or construction projects.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Practical experience implementing quality and/or environmental management systems on live construction sites.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Experience carrying out inspections, audits, and compliance monitoring activities.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica,
