We’re seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent who reflects these values and is ready to oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and special systems coordination on a major project in St. Louis, MO.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">The MEP Superintendent is responsible for leading and coordinating all MEP trade partners and equipment vendors, ensuring systems are installed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with contract documents. This role is critical in driving field productivity, maintaining schedule alignment, enforcing safety standards, and delivering a high‑quality final product to the owner.</span></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Key Responsibilities</span></strong></p> <p><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Trade Coordination & Field Oversight</span></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Supervise, coordinate, and sequence the work of MEP contractors to maintain flow and prevent conflicts.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Monitor trade performance and ensure productivity, quality, and compliance with project requirements.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Facilitate MEP overhead coordination, including mechanical rooms, electrical rooms, and congested spaces.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Schedule & Logistics</span></p> <ul maintain a detailed project schedule specific to MEP activities.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ensure work is completed in accordance with schedule milestones.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Assist with development of site logistics plans to support efficient installation and minimize disruption.</span></li> </ul> <p><span helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Oversee the completion of MEP punchlist activities.</span></li> <li and industry standards.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Technical & Contractual Support</span></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" enforcing contract requirements and minimizing field changes.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Assist in developing MEP scopes of work and front-end documents consistent with trade jurisdiction requirements.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Resolve field conflicts and disputes promptly to avoid delays and mitigate claims.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Communication & Collaboration</span></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Maintain strong communication with the Project Manager and project team.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Support coordination meetings and ensure alignment between trades, vendors, and design partners.</span></li> </ul> <p><strong><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Qualifications</span></strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">10+ years of relevant MEP construction experience.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Strong mechanical and plumbing aptitude with a deep understanding of MEP systems.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Bachelor’s degree in a technical/engineering discipline or equivalent field experience.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">OSHA 30 certification preferred.</span></li> </ul>
