This role supports quality compliance by documenting inspection results, managing customer RGAs and supplier NCRs, assisting with ISO 9001 requirements and audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and experienced in manufacturing quality systems, with strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.</p> <p>Starting pay rate: $25/hr. - $27.0/hr.</p> <p>Schedule: On-site, Day shift, M-F</p> <p>Location: La Palma, CA</p> <p> </p> <p><strong><u>RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong><strong>:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform incoming, in-process and outbound inspection, sampling, final testing and inspection of finished products and components.</li> <li>Promote and maintain a safe, clean and orderly working environment and adhere to all safety protocols and regulations during quality assurance activities.</li> <li>Record inspection results (i.e., acceptance, rejection, disposition, etc.)</li> <li>Initiate procedures to ensure quality and specifications are met.</li> <li>Process, track, and follow-through on Customer RGAs.</li> <li>Process, track, and follow-through on Supplier NCRs.</li> <li>Assist with ISO 9001 Compliance requirements and Internal audits.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong><u>EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS</u></strong><strong>: </strong>H/S diploma and/or equivalent. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong><u>EXPERIENCE REQUIRED</u></strong><strong>: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 3-5 years of QA experience in a manufacturing company.</li> <li>Prior experience in warehouse and receiving necessary and must be able to manage multiple activities. </li> <li>Background in quality control and quality assurance (ISO 9001) preferred.</li> <li>Experience with QA tools and techniques and test execution.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong><u>SKILLS REQUIRED</u></strong><strong>: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated ability to proactively identify, prevent, and resolve quality-related issues.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and effective time management.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong problem-solving and interpersonal abilities.</li> <li>Hands-on quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment, with the ability to address production quality concerns and support customer satisfaction.</li> <li>Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.</li> <li>Strong mathematical aptitude with the ability to perform calculations accurately and efficiently.</li> <li>Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.</li> <li>Proven ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate with associates, management, customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.</li> <li>Working knowledge of receiving, inspection, and quality control processes.</li> <li>Experience using and training others on inspection tools, measuring devices, testing equipment, and related safety and quality procedures.</li> <li>Knowledge of assembly processes and standard manufacturing and production practices.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong><u>SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: </u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Flexibility to work extended hours, as needed, to meet operational demands and ensure timely completion of job responsibilities.</li> <li>Willingness to train other associates on quality processes, ISO 9001 standards, and company safety policies to support compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong><u>KNOWLEDGE OF: </u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Quality principles, practices, and procedures.</li> <li>Microsoft Suite and SAP.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p><p style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif"><em>SVF Flow Controls is committed to equal opportunity employment.
