Join EY and help to build a better working world. </div> <div> </div> L2 Role - Financial Crime (CDD) Senior Risk Associate (QC) - UK&I - Risk Management – 12m FTC – Newcastle The Opportunity The Quality Control (QC) Team support The CDD Team in the execution of quality control framework to ensure adherence with UK&I regulations and compliance guidelines, in line with Global, Regional, and local risk management policies and procedures. The QC Team are also responsible for the development, maintenance, communication, and training of QC processes and policies to The Central CDD Team. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will need to demonstrate flexibility and the ability to move between processes. You will, as a QC Analyst be a key part of the Central CDD Team, performing quality checks on AML work completed by the CDD Team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to. <ul> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Undertaking QC on areas including BAU, Periodic Reviews, RTC, Special Projects and the Approval Rung</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Providing 121 coaching on reducing Outreach through a risk based pragmatic approach and utilisation of additional resources</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Thematic checks for process changes and SOP updates</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Undertaking BAU when requested by Management</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Delivery of timely feedback</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Management of remediation workstream</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Suggest and implement changes and improvements to the QC policies and procedures</li> </ul> Skills and attributes for success <ul> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Strong knowledge of CDD policies and process</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">You will have good communication skills capable of dealing with wide range of staff, including Partners.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to establish and maintain a high degree of confidentiality and credibility at all levels</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Strong team player and proven ability to work with others</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Enthusiastic, positive, and resilient.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines in a demanding environment.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Maintains high levels of accuracy and attention to detail while adopting flexibility between tasks</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Knowledge of Channel Islands requirements would be an advantage</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">An ICA qualification would be an advantage</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Previous QC experience would be an advantage</li> </ul> To be considered for this role you will need 12 months plus tenure and QC scores which are consistently on/above target.<div> EY | Building a better working world EY is building a better working world by creating new value for clients, people, society and the planet, while building trust in capital markets.
