<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform comprehensive inspection, maintenance, and repair of marine engines and associated components, ensuring all work meets company quality and safety standards.</li> <li>Diagnose engine faults using specialised diagnostic tools and applying technical knowledge to determine effective solutions.</li> <li>Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to support complex engine overhaul projects and ensure timely completion.</li> <li>Maintain accurate and detailed records of service work, parts used, and maintenance activities within company systems.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with safety procedures and environmental regulations at all times within the workshop.</li> <li>Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying potential areas for process optimisation and efficiency gains.</li> <li>Participate in training and skills development programs to stay updated with the latest marine engine technologies and maintenance best practices.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Relevant technical qualification in mechanical engineering, marine engineering, or a related field.</li> <li>Proven experience working as a technician or mechanic, preferably within the marine or heavy machinery industry.</li> <li>Strong understanding of marine engine systems, components, and repair techniques.</li> <li>Proficient in using diagnostic and workshop tools effectively and safely.</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail and quality workmanship.</li> <li>Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.</li> <li>Commitment to upholding high standards of workplace safety and corporate compliance.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Other Information:</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> Location: Benoi Road (Island-wide transport provided)</li> <li>5 days work week</li> <li>Working Hours: 7.25am-5pm</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p>
