<p><strong>Kirin Business Development Manager | Auckland, NZ</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>We&apos;re looking for a commercially minded and relationship driven <strong>Business Development Manager</strong> to join our On-Premise Sales team in Auckland in a Permanent, full-time position.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is an exciting opportunity to combine a passion for Japanese brands with your sales expertise, helping grow the Kirin portfolio across New Zealand. Working closely with customers and internal teams, you&apos;ll identify new business opportunities, strengthen existing partnerships and drive greater visibility of Kirin products across the market.</p> <p> </p> <p>You&apos;ll also enjoy a base salary of $100,000 per annum, alongside the opportunity to represent one of Japan&apos;s most iconic beer portfolios. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>A day in the life:</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>Reporting to the On-Premise Director, you&apos;ll play a key role in growing the Kirin portfolio by:</p> <p> </p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Building trusted relationships with existing and prospective customers across Auckland.</li> <li>Identifying new business opportunities and expanding distribution across on-premise channels.</li> <li>Deliver against agreed sales revenue, profitability, volume and execution targets for the Kirin portfolio by developing and implementing commercial initiatives.</li> <li>Develop, define and execute customer strategies that strengthen relationships with key customers, and deliver sustainable business growth across the New Zealand market. </li> <li>Monitor, analyse and report on key sales performance indicators, including Net Sales Revenue (NSR), sales volume, distribution, execution standards and customer engagement.</li> <li>Championing the Kirin portfolio by educating customers on the products, brand story and commercial opportunities.</li> <li>Contributing ideas that improve customer experience, sales effectiveness and business performance.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What you&apos;ll bring:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Deliver against agreed sales revenue, profitability, volume and execution targets for the Kirin portfolio by developing and implementing commercial initiatives that support Lion&apos;s Annual Operating Plan (AOP).</li> <li><span style="list-style-type:disc">Execute customer strategies that strengthen relationships with key customers, identify new commercial opportunities, increase distribution and market penetration, and deliver sustainable business growth across the NZ market. </span> </li> <li>Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence and build credibility.</li> <li>Excellent communication and presentation skills.</li> <li>Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.</li> <li>Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.</li> <li>A passion for the food and beverage industry, with knowledge of Japanese brands highly regarded.</li> <li>Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, International Business or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.</li> <li>Required 5 years relevant work experience and 3 years’ experience in an On-Premise sales representative role.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Why LION?</strong></p> <p>At LION, we&apos;re committed to helping our people grow their careers while working on brands they can be proud of.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Apply Now! </strong></p>
