You will report to the Manager - Project Performance Engineering. This role is mobile/hybrid, located in Columbia, SC. <h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3> <ul> <li>Evaluation and Response to customer questions regarding fuel assembly and core component performance and acceptability</li> <li>Perform evaluations of Rod Control Cluster Assemblies for anticipated wear and lifetime.</li> <li>Lead Post Irradiated Examinations (PIE) of Fuel Assemblies and Core Components</li> <li>Be the main contact between Product Performance Engineering and our Asia Fuel Delivery team and Chinese customers.</li> <li>Work with diverse teams of technicians, engineers, and other professionals to plan and complete projects within budget</li> <li>Support evaluations of our products exposed to fuel handling incidents at customer sites</li> <li>Track performance of Fuel products and maintain performance databases.</li> <li>Support the CFFF on issues related to product performance</li> <li>Support Westinghouse Reactor Services on issues related to fuel handling and inspections.</li> <li>Can maintain unescorted access to customer sites</li> <li>Travel (domestic and international) up to 30%</li> <li> </li> </ul> <h3>Qualifications:</h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in engineering (e.g. Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical)</li> <li>4+ years of experience</li> <li>Mandarin language skills and the ability to interpret between Mandarin and English during technical meetings mandatory.</li> <li>Fuel Performance, Fuel Design, or Field Service (work at customer sites) related experience</li> <li>Ability to travel to customer sites; ability to maintain Unescorted Access Authorization for operating nuclear facilities.</li> </ul> We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices.
