<p> </p> <p><strong>KWS Türk</strong> is looking for a <strong>Field Production Manager</strong> who will lead the field production activities in the country for corn and sunflower seeds.</p> <p> </p> <p>This <strong>unlimited</strong> position is available <strong>in full-time</strong> and located in our Turkish HQ, <strong>Eskişehir</strong>. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Your Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead and oversee all corn and sunflower seed field production activities in line with the annual production program and in close collaboration with Regional Production Managers.</li> <li>Ensure production operations consistently achieve KWS global quality standards and meet all production targets.</li> <li>Manage field production costs and drive efficiency to achieve budgeted Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) per unit.</li> <li>Develop and implement short- and long-term field production strategies to support business growth and production sustainability.</li> <li>Define and manage grower pricing structures, contract models, and commercial agreements.</li> <li>Organize and coordinate all field production activities in accordance with KWS policies, global rules, and operational guidelines.</li> <li>Plan future production developments and evaluate required investments in field equipment, infrastructure, and technology.</li> <li>Oversee the maintenance, utilization, and performance of company-owned machinery and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.</li> <li>Plan, recruit, and manage seasonal labor and technical staff based on production requirements and budget constraints.</li> <li>Build, maintain, and expand a strong production network by identifying and contracting new key growers and production regions.</li> <li>Enhance the negotiation, technical, and operational capabilities of team members through coaching and development initiatives.</li> <li>Develop and maintain a high-performing seed production grower network aligned with KWS production standards and philosophy.</li> <li>Ensure full adherence to KWS Safety and Compliance standards across all field production operations.</li> <li>Drive continuous learning and professional development within the production team through coaching, training, and mentoring.</li> <li>Represent and promote KWS corporate culture, values, and standards throughout the area of responsibility.</li> <li>Hold full disciplinary and people management responsibility for the Field Production Department.</li> <li>Monitor and manage budget performance, including forecast versus actual expenditure analysis, and implement corrective actions where necessary.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Your Profile:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>You already reside in or can move to <strong>Eskişehir</strong>.</li> <li>University degree in Agricultural Engineering or a related field.</li> <li>Minimum 5 years of professional experience in <strong>agricultural production</strong>.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of agronomic and technical seed production practices, preferably in corn and sunflower seed production.</li> <li>Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and manage high-performing teams.</li> <li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Windows-based systems, with the ability to quickly adapt to new ERP systems and digital tools.</li> <li><strong>Valid B class driver's license</strong> and willingness to travel extensively (approximately 50% of working time), including domestic and international travel as required.</li> <li><strong>Fluent in Turkish & English</strong>, with strong verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Excellent planning, organizational, and project management capabilities.</li> <li>Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.</li> <li>Commitment to continuous learning, self-development, and professional growth.</li> <li>Strong networking and relationship-building skills with growers, partners, and stakeholders.</li> <li>Strategic thinking skills with the ability to balance short-term priorities and long-term business goals.</li> <li>Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.</li> <li>High ethical standards with a strong commitment to compliance, integrity, and professional conduct.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Grow your career by submitting your application online via our online application system SuccessFactors!
