The Business Unit can look back on almost fifty years of production and development expertise. Your new responsibilities Support algorithm development and deployment of sophisticated wafer map analytics software in close collaboration with German data science team. Identification of data science use cases, to support the R&D of optoelectronic devices. Data preparation with support of data engineering team in IT. Apply statistical methods or tools, to gain insights and to prepare data for use in predictive & prescriptive modeling. Build models, to forecast/ predict and thus solve business problems. Collaboration with R&D, to support a smooth ramp-up of new optoelectronic technologies via data analytics. What we look for Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent with relevant industrial experience. Highly proficient in statistical & analytic skills. In-depth experience in programming languages (Python, Matlab, etc) Detailed & strong analytical thinking with excellent communication skills. Good in decision making & presentation skills.
