About this role

Valve Lead Altrad HPC Permanent Job Responsibilities: • Identification of appropriate valve types (e.g., ball, gate, globe, butterfly, control valves) • Prepare and collate technical datasheets, drawings, and documentation • Oversee installation of valves in piping systems • Support commissioning and pressure testing activities • Ensure proper alignment, fit, and operational readiness • Inspect and diagnose valve faults, leaks, or failures • Plan preventive and corrective maintenance schedules • Recommend repairs, replacements, or upgrades • Ensure compliance with industry codes (e.g., API, ASME, ISO, BS) • Maintain safety and environmental standards • Prepare technical reports and documentation • Work closely with mechanical and planning teams, at site and MLC1 Qualifications • Degree in relevant construction discipline or 10 years' experience in a site construction management role • Experience in valve engineering, piping systems, or process industries • Knowledge of valve types, materials, and actuation systems • Good knowledge of CDM Regulations. • CCNSG Safety Passport (Or MAPS) • Capable of obtaining security clearance of BPSS or higher. • Proven experience or safely delivering large scale construction or engineering projects including working at a management level of authority. Experience in the heavy industry or nuclear sectors is beneficial as is experience in working with Joint Ventures. Experience • Degree in relevant construction discipline or 10 years' experience in a site construction management role • Experience in valve engineering, piping systems, or process industries • Knowledge of valve types, materials, and actuation systems • Good knowledge of CDM Regulations. • CCNSG Safety Passport (Or MAPS) • Capable of obtaining security clearance of BPSS or higher. • Proven experience or safely delivering large scale construction or engineering projects including working at a management level of authority.
