<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>About John Holland</b></H2> </div><div><p>We are currently seeking a motivated Electrical &amp; Communications Supervisor to join our Rail Infrastructure team. This role will provide critical support to our Rail Infrastructure Services business and John Holland’s Major Projects.</p> <p> </p> <p>Based in Seven Hills, NSW, the successful candidate will initially support the Hunter-Central Coast Renewable Energy Zone (HCC REZ) project. This significant initiative involves upgrading the existing electricity network and constructing two new substations to enable connections to a range of renewable energy sources, advancing the Hunter region’s clean energy future. The project aims to deliver more than 1 GW of renewable energy capacity while minimising environmental and community impact.</p> <p> </p> <p>This role will be based in the Hunter region for the first 12 months . The successful candidate will be expected to work on site Monday - Friday throughout this period. After the project completion the role will be based out of our Seven Hills depot.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p>-Contribute to development of work methods and plan daily/weekly production work.</p> <p>-Build strong internal and external stakeholder management through positive, proactive and professional communication to keep key personnel informed.</p> <p>-Complete progress reporting, and activities, reports for shift handovers and consistent regular reporting to the Superintendent or Project Manager</p> <p>-Ensure compliance of commercial and financial costs including budgets</p> <p>-Provide and take leadership responsibility in health, safety and environmental management.</p> <p>-Read and understand plans, review design documentation, read drawings, and provide constructive review and implementation of final designs</p> <p>-Identify and mitigate risks prior to works commencing, communicate with and engage relevant stakeholders to control risk and contribute to build a risk management culture.</p> <p>-Select, train and develop leading hands and ensure the observance of safety, other work standards and fair and reasonable application of industrial agreements.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>To be successful:</strong></p> <p>-Electrical trade qualifications with 7+ years experience and be the Electrical Nominee on site and perform those duties when necessary,</p> <p>-Experience within electrical distribution, utilities, Rail or ASP contractor environments</p> <p>-ACMA and/or Open Cabler License desirable,</p> <p>-Communications and Scada experience including fibre splicing is desirable,</p> <p>-Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings schematics and construction documentation,</p> <p>-Solid understanding of construction safety systems and site based risk management</p> <p>-Proven ability to lead teams coordinate subcontractors, and drive site delivery outcomes in fast paced environments,</p> <p>-A strong relationship builder, with the ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder partnerships while ensuring adherence to commercial and financial governance requirements.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What’s in it for You?</b></H2> </div><div><p>At John Holland, we put our people first.
