GEV Wind Power US is seeking experienced Traveling Lead Composite Blade Technician 4 with extensive Category 4 & 5 composite blade repair expertise. This role involves leading and mentoring teams of technicians while performing high-quality, complex blade repairs up to Category 5, including structural and specialty repairs. The ideal candidate is physically capable, safety-minded, and experienced with composite materials such as epoxy and polyester resins, balsa, foam, and fiberglass reinforcement. Location: Throughout USA (and potentially Canada) | 100% travel on a rotational basis Position Type: Full-Time Employee or Contractor Job Responsibilities: Travel 100% to wind farms throughout North America on an 8/1 rotation. Lead and mentor other technicians on a team with proper composite blade repairs, up to Category 5 complex or specialty repairs Perform expert composite blade repair uptower via platforms, occasionally on the ground, and potentially rope access Perform Epoxy and Polyester resin wet lay up, vacuum infusion, balsa and foam sandwich materials May be required to perform structural repair of blades Complete detailed Daily Progress Reporting Documents and QA/QC reports, adhering to Quality Checkpoints Complete onsite stock checks Demonstrate leadership with team Assisting site lead and project coordinator
