We have a client focused approach and support all of our team members in the deliverance of a first-class client experience.<br><strong> </strong><br><strong>Job Description</strong><br><strong> </strong><br>The successful candidate will join a growing team and will be responsible for the accounting and financial reporting of a portfolio of Luxembourg-domiciled funds, corporate clients and special purpose vehicles (SPVs), including securitisation structures established to participate in capital market transactions. <br> <br>This role is ideally suited to a candidate who is keen to build strong technical foundations in fund and SPV accounting through hands-on preparation work and continuous learning. Responsibilities The successful candidate can expect to be involved in and take responsibility for the following tasks:<br><ul><li>Manage day-to-day accounting operations for a portfolio of corporate entities;</li><li>Preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts as required by clients;</li><li>Preparation of core fund accounting deliverables, including transaction bookings, NAV‑related calculations (valuations, accruals, income/expenses), capital call and distribution workings, investor allocations, fee calculations, reconciliations (bank, position, portfolio), and supporting schedules for investor and financial reporting;</li><li>Preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., Lux GAAP, IFRS);</li><li>Assist in the coordination of year-end audits;</li><li>Payments and cash flow management;</li><li>Prepare and submit VAT returns and corporate tax declarations.</li><li>Prepare and submit regulatory reports (e.g., CSSF, BCL, ECDF);</li><li>Liaise with clients, investment managers, external auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel and other stakeholders;</li><li>Participate in client, board, and shareholder meetings;</li><li>Support the team in improving processes and implementing best practices; </li><li>Support the business in responding to client needs on an ongoing basis; and</li><li>Ensure that ethical standards and human rights principles are upheld across all areas of responsibility.</li></ul> Requirements <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field </li><li>3–5+ years of relevant experience in fund or SPV accounting, ideally within the Luxembourg financial services sector </li><li>Strong knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP and familiarity with IFRS;</li><li>Proficiency in English, knowledge of French or German is an advantage;</li><li>Solid analytical and problem-solving skills;</li><li>Experience with fund accounting system, e-Front is beneficial;</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities; </li><li>Proactive and able to work independently as well as collaboratively; </li><li>Clear communicator with a professional and client-focused approach; and</li><li>Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.</li></ul> Why us? <strong>Benefits</strong><br><ul><li>Significant growth potential for the right candidate;</li><li>Well-diversified range of tasks;</li><li>Significant opportunity to contribute to and influence the future design and structure of the Luxembourg operations; </li><li>Study support for further professional qualifications; and</li><li>A competitive remuneration package, depending on qualifications and experience.</li></ul>
